ATB is changing the face of Telecommunication communications by launching a constellation of telecommunication nanosatellites! With the recent success of our Series A funding, a handful of early customers, and our first two satellites in orbit, ATB is currently doubling in size!

We invest heavily to deliver the best products to our customers, and so we’re on the hunt for a Regulatory Engineering intern who will interface with system engineers on our team to directly contribute to core project tasks. Here is a little more detail on what you can expect to work on:

Position Responsibilities:

Python code development:

Internal software used to track and respond to ITU coordination requests

Expand capabilities on Telecommunication orbit simulations

Tools to assess interference between satellites as well as terrestrial based systems

Support licensing efforts

Provide technical insight for earth station licensing

Build link budgets for capacity assessments

Support international initiatives

Work with the hardware team to identify methods of coexistence between ATB’s network and existing operational networks

Position Requirements:

Pursuing or completed an Engineering, Mathematics or Physics Course

Strong Python or Matlab experience (other languages may be considered)

An understanding of Telecommunication orbits

Good knowledge of link budgets

Bonus Points:

Amateur/HAM radio experience

Experience in a University design team

Knowledge of CubeSats or previous Telecommunication experience
