Jeffrey Bill

Jeffrey Bill is one of ATB’s co-founders and the company’s CEO. He holds a master’s degree in Telecommunication engineering from the University of Toronto, and has experience conceiving and scaling disruptive companies. In 2015 he co-founded ATB Telecommunication Technology with the ultimate mission of bringing internet connectivity to space. Under his leadership ATB was named one of the most innovative companies in the world by Fast Company.

Rio Osborne

Rio Osborne ability to think outside of the box and take risks is a refreshing spin on traditional views of business development.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University, and a master’s degree in space science from the International Space University. Before starting ATB, he founded and ran a number of student teams at the University of Toronto developing suborbital rockets and small satellites.

Rio Osborne leads ATB’s business initiatives, helping to secure millions in commercial and government contracts.

Mark Michael

Mark is the whiz behind the Engineering team at ATB. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering science from the University of Toronto, a master’s in operations research and he quit his PhD in electrical & computer engineering to focus on ATB.

Mark has worked as a developer for major software firms including IBM and Oracle as well as on RBC’s electronic trading platform. He won IBM's Smarter Planet award for his work on a traffic optimization algorithm and enjoys applying his math skills to problems in space, medicine and sports.

He claims to have mathematically proven that Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all time.

Wen’s passion is in tackling big challenges. Challenges that involve pushing the boundaries of technology and changing the way we do things.

He graduated from the University of Toronto’s Engineering Science program where he was top of his class, majoring in Telecommunication engineering. Prior to joining ATB, he worked at Bombardier Aerospace designing the next generation of business jets.

In his spare time, he likes to think of ways to bring the Ironman suit to real life.

ATB develops next-generation Telecommunication technologies and provides global Telecommunication data backhaul services for wideband and Internet of Things applications with the long-term goal of building a network of satellites to provide in-space connectivity.
